Simon Says "Check Out My Ride!"

MiMi's good friend, Erin, has a little girl and a little boy all her own ... but they're kind of big kids now. Look how lucky I am ... they let me borrow this wild animal print carseat for my rides in MiMi's car. And they let Oma & PopPop borrow one too, so I am all set for lots of adventures!

On Sunday, Mommy and I went with MiMi and Aunt Kerrian to visit Sherwood Gardens to walk in the park and see all of the tulip gardens. MiMi and I think that the walks in her neighborhood are really just as pretty. Did you see the pictures MiMi shared yesterday? It's a good way to learn your numbers and your colors by looking at the spring flowers!

Simon Says "A Day For Rest and A Beautiful Walk"

For this quiet Sunday while I am home with Mommy & Daddy, MiMi took a solo walk (well she and her camera) and she thought you might just like to have some quiet time with the flowers too.

Simon Says "Who Remembers?"

This is my very special room over at MiMi's house. She knew I was going to come play at her house when Mommy went back to work, so she and Mommy fixed up this great place for me! My MiMi had some special baby things saved up in her attic that my own Mommy had in her room when she was MiMi's little baby. Do you see these storybook people up on the wall around my crib? Can you remember who they are and the stories about them? MiMi says she's going to tell me all about them and read their stories. Boy, they are fun to look at!

Simon Says "MiMi and I Are a Good Team"

Well today was the BIG day. Mommy dropped me at MiMi's house to spend the day while she went to her office. I wore my new hat and it made MiMi laugh so we got off to a good start. She called me Sweet Pea all day.

I had my challenges when MiMi offered me the milk Mommy brought for me ... the packaging leaves something to be desired, but I'm getting better at it. I liked my naptimes and since the sun was shining I got to take a nice long ride in the stroller too. I was glad that the flowers got MiMi's attention and she finally was pointing her camera at something else other than me!

We had a real nice surprise ... PopPop came by to visit! I was happy we got to visit ... he and my Oma are leaving for a fun trip and I won't see them for a little while! I wonder if they'll notice that I'm growing oh so fast, so I could be a BIG boy when they see me next. Have a safe trip and lots of fun Oma and PopPop. I will miss you! Mommy told us that she and Daddy had lunch together and she said they took a nice stroll in the sun too. I went home with Mommy and Daddy was meeting us there. So we all had a good day and we're lucky to have each other!

Simon Says "Mommy and Me"

Mommy has been able to spend everyday of these last 84 days with me. We have had so much fun learning together and have gotten to know each other's faces and voices, we play and make each other smile and laugh everyday. There is no one like my Mommy. Tomorrow I will be spending time with MiMi while Mommy heads back to work. Daddy and I are so proud of her ... she's a smart, hard-working Mommy and has a very important reason to help others by sharing her talents. I don't understand all that she does, but I know she works out problems with numbers. That will come in handy in a few years when I start learning arithmetic. I know that Mommy will be a little sad tomorrow, so please join MiMi and me and say a little prayer for her that the day will go quickly and we will be back together sharing a fun evening with Daddy ... smiling and laughing together again!

Simon Says "Meet My New Friend, Harrison Xavier Mulready"

MiMi and Auntie Kerrian went down to Virginia to some horse races. I've got to figure out what a horse is. My Auntie's best friend was visiting from Denver and she has a little boy, Harrison, who is just about my same age. MiMi will show you our two pictures together so you can see my new friend. Can you tell us apart?

Mommy, Daddy & I had a fun Easter too ... Oma & PopPop had us over for a yummy Easter dinner with Auntie Julia. It was a sunny day, but still too cold for all of us. Did the Easter bunny visit your house too?

Simon Says "Bunnies, Eggs & Chicks, Oh My"

The weather was a delightful surprise for us on Friday and so we took a long walk with MiMi and Auntie Kerrian. All of a sudden, out jumped this crazy chick to wish us a Happy Easter ... so I am passing along the same wish to all of you. We saw loads of daffodils, tulips, hyacinth, colored eggs and bunnies along the way. I'm a little confused because MiMi still has a snow village on her mantle!?!
