Simon Says "Ya Gotta Keep Laughing"

I was just having a laugh with Mommy yesterday and MiMi thinks that this picture could help us all remember that everything seems a little better if you can laugh at something everyday ... okay, well on some days it might just be a weak smile, but try it. Today the sun is shining and Mommy and I are going down to the ship to meet Daddy for lunch and I bet I do something to help them share a laugh! Go find your laugh for today and share it with those you love.

Simon Says "It's official ... I was born!"

One of the tasks Mommy set for herself before she goes back to the office was to get my official paperwork. I know you all have gotten to meet me (here at least) and you probably really believe I'm for real, but the State of Maryland now has provided the official record of that happy event. It's a good thing Mommy went before the lunch crowd because, boy oh boy, there was a slow-moving line (think a trip to the motor vehicle dept). MiMi took me out for a walk and Mommy took on the boredom of the line. Now we're set ... I'm ready for a passport, driver's license, a work permit ... life, here I come (paperwork in hand)!

Simon Says "Have You Seen My Hat?"

This morning MiMi walked out and look what she found in her yard!!! As you can see Mr. Duckie is wearing a hat that looks suspiciously like one I own and Mommy can't find! I agree he looks rather cute, but you be the judge, which one of us looks best in it?

Simon Says "Meet My Computer-Savvy Great Grandpa Kerrigan"

My Great-Grandpa Kerrigan had a BIG day yesterday ... he turned 85 years young! Know what he did for his birthday ? He signed up with a profile on Facebook! Now that's a forward-thinking young man! I hope that eighty-five years from now I will still be willing to learn whatever is the latest thing so that it will keep me young too ... just like Great-Grandpa Kerrigan! Great-Grandma and Grandpa Kerrigan live in Florida ... we're planning a trip down in November (when I'll be almost ten months old) so I can meet them and lots of other relatives from my MiMi's family ... like maybe 40 more! It's going to be so much fun ... by then, they'll have 13 great-grandsons and 2 great-granddaughters! The Land of Mickey ... here we come!

Simon Says "Guess Who's My Favorite Uncle?"

My Uncle Charley took his GTO to the track about a week ago and ran it in some time trials. Dad and I didn't get to go to this one, but we will definitely go soon. He has a beautiful specimen that not only looks great, but he had some of the best times of the day! A man and his toys ... that's what it's all about!

Simon Says "Auntie Lauren Can't Stay Away!"

I would like to think it's because she can't get enough of seeing me, but we're also lucky that she has just gotten a nice big contract to do some of her magic with the Web for a Baltimore company and that means more visits! Yea! Now we just have to find a way to get Auntie Rama to come up from Atlanta too! Hey, has anyone seen my Auntie Julia? I haven't seen her in a few weeks and I miss her too! Julia, have your people call my people.

Simon Says "It's So Cold, This May Be My Easter Bonnet!"

So this is what spring is all about ... one teaser of a day with warm sunny skies and then we get today. Boy, we took a walk today and it was gray, damp and down-right chilly! Good thing Mommy had just the right hat for me! Hey, was today's weather the first April Fools Day trick played on me?
