Simon Says "My Great-Grandma Needs Some TLC"

MiMi has learned about the "good news / bad news" of my Great-Grandma's doctor's advice. She had to go meet a new doctor to learn more about her heart (for all of us that she loves, we know she has a BIG one to love so many of us!). The good news is that she liked him very much and he said he can make her feel so much better. The bad news is that it requires a stay overnight in the hospital and a surgical procedure. Even though her own son is a surgeon, going through that kind of thing is still scary. So, please say a prayer for my Great-Grandma and send her a dose of courage too. She should get a lot of special care for the next couple of weeks so that she can be feeling her best again real soon. We all love you grandma and for all of us you are "Great"!

Simon Says "I Like Being MiMi's Landscape Architect"

MiMi was away for the weekend and now that she's back, it's time to spend in the garden out back. Mommy shared some of her plants from our backyard ... the Bleeding Heart behind me came from my yard. I am thinking maybe some pansies would go nicely too. What do you think? We had a busy weekend ... seeing Oma and PopPop now that they're home again (hurray!) ... some shopping at our favorite second-hand sale ... visits with old friends ... and perfect weather for the outdoors! I hope you all had the same kind of fun-filled days. Auntie Lauren came back to Baltimore with MiMi so I get to have some more time to play with her! I'm going to ask her to go for a walk right now!

Simon Says "What, Bert Already Has a Partner?!"

Well, we can still be friends. I am making new friends from Sesame Street ... and you know what? They were friends of Mommy & Daddy when they were little too! I like the idea we can have the same friends for our whole lives and there is always room for more. So if we haven't met each other yet, I am still hoping that we can be friends. Have you ever tried to count all your friends? My list is already long and I am going to try to be the best friend I can. We need to say thank you for being my friend ... friends can make life so much more fun!

Simon Says "Did You Know? It's Earth Day!"

Happy Earth Day ... Can I ask? What are you doing to help save the land, the air, and all of the birds and animals for me to grow up and learn about? MiMi says she's recycling her hugs and kisses but it'll take more than that!!!

Well, not only is this Earth Day but it is also the day I turn three months old! Do you know how old the earth is? I hope we can all help to make it live forever!

Simon Says "Look MiMi, Let's Go, The Sun Is Shining!"

MiMi and I heard the weather report earlier and we figured we were stuck inside again today ... then what a nice surprise ... I looked up and the sun was shining! Off we went for a nice long walk ... MiMi likes to see what she can see ... me, I usually sleep while taking in all the fresh air. Hope you can find some time to get out and get your fresh air today too!

Simon Says "Check Out My Ride!"

MiMi's good friend, Erin, has a little girl and a little boy all her own ... but they're kind of big kids now. Look how lucky I am ... they let me borrow this wild animal print carseat for my rides in MiMi's car. And they let Oma & PopPop borrow one too, so I am all set for lots of adventures!

On Sunday, Mommy and I went with MiMi and Aunt Kerrian to visit Sherwood Gardens to walk in the park and see all of the tulip gardens. MiMi and I think that the walks in her neighborhood are really just as pretty. Did you see the pictures MiMi shared yesterday? It's a good way to learn your numbers and your colors by looking at the spring flowers!

For this quiet Sunday while I am home with Mommy & Daddy, MiMi took a solo walk (well she and her camera) and she thought you might just like to have some quiet time with the flowers too.
